Overview
Lucen Timeline files stay compatible within the same version generation. If you collaborate with teammates, everyone should be on compatible versions so you can edit each other's timelines. This article explains which versions work together, and what to do when you see a prompt to update a timeline or a message that one cannot be edited.
Which versions work together
Builds 13.5 through 14.22 are all compatible with each other.
If you share Timeline files with teammates, we recommend everyone stay on 14.22. It has the latest fixes in this line and keeps you compatible with earlier 13.5 to 14.x builds.
Version 15 is a new generation and is not backward compatible with 14.22 or earlier.
Timelines saved in version 15 may not be editable in earlier versions.

Everyone who shares Timeline files should update together.
Which should you choose? Collaborating with a team? Stay on 14.22. Working on your own and not sharing files? You can move to the latest version 15 release. You can download either from the Lucen Timeline updates page.
