Automate user provisioning: admins on Microsoft Entra ID can license users automatically with SCIM. See Set up automatic user provisioning (SCIM) for Lucen Timeline.
Overview
The Account Center is where Billing Owners and Workspace Admins manage Timeline subscriptions, user access, and billing. Sign in at app.lucensoftware.com to access it.
This article gives an overview of the Account Center and explains where to find common tools and settings.
A) Accessing the Account Center
Go to app.lucensoftware.com and sign in with your Billing Owner or Workspace Admin credentials.
After signing in, you land in the Account Center. Use the left navigation to move between sections:
Apps
Your Lucen apps and quick access to each.
Subscriptions
Manage subscriptions and the users on them.
Purchases
Order history and invoices.
Quotes
Create, download, and accept quotes for a new purchase.
Organization settings
Payment methods and billing contact information.
Integrations
Connect your identity provider for automatic user provisioning (SCIM).
B) Apps
The Apps section is the home for the Lucen apps your organization uses. Your apps shows a card for each product you have, such as Timeline, Timeline Online, and Flowchart, with quick actions on each card, for example Manage subscriptions, Open, Download, or Manage licenses, depending on the app. Apps to try suggests other Lucen products you can add, each with Buy app and Try free.
C) Subscriptions
The Subscriptions section is where you manage your Timeline subscriptions and the users on them. In the left navigation, select Subscriptions to see your subscriptions. You can view them in a card or list view.
In list view, you can sort the Subscriptions list by any column. Select a column header to sort by that column, and select the same header again to reverse the order. For example, sort by the valid-until date to organize subscriptions by upcoming renewal. Sorting applies to the list view.
Select a subscription to open its management page. Each subscription has three tabs: Details, Seats, and Manage.
Details tab
The Details tab shows subscription information including plan, seat count, expiry date, and auto-renewal status. Billing Owners can view and update the assigned Workspace Admin from this tab.
Seats tab
The Seats tab shows how many seats are assigned (for example, "2 of 5 seats assigned"). Add users with Manually, CSV import, or Generate invite link. The list shows each assigned user's name, email, and the date they were assigned (some subscriptions also show last active and status). To remove someone, select their row and use the actions menu (...), then choose Remove user.
Each assigned seat shows a Status of Active or Pending, and the summary cards above the list (Seats in plan, Available, Active, Pending) give you a quick read on who is actually using their license. For details, see How to assign and unassign seats for Workspace Admins.
Manage tab
The Manage tab gives you options to modify the subscription itself:
Upgrade
Upgrade the plan or the number of licenses in your subscription.
Split or consolidate
Split the subscription into smaller ones or combine it with others.
Align renewal dates
Align this subscription with others to renew on the same date.
Refund
Request a refund. Selecting it opens a panel with the email address to contact ([email protected]).
Cancel subscription
Turns off auto-renewal; your team keeps access until the expiry date (for example, "Cancelling will end access on [date]").
The right side of the Manage tab summarizes Seats assigned, Current plan, Expiry date, Projected billing, and the Customer email.
D) Purchases
The Purchases section (Purchase history) shows your order history. Each row lists the invoice number, subscription ID, PO number, date, status (for example, Paid), and invoice total; select a row to open the invoice. Search by product or invoice ID, or filter by status.
E) Quotes
The Quotes section lets you create and manage a quote for a new purchase on your own, without going through Sales. Generate a quote for the plan and number of licenses you want, download it as a PDF to share with procurement, then come back to accept and pay when you are ready. Accepting and paying a quote creates the subscription automatically.
The Manage quotes page shows your quotes at a glance, with cards for Pending (open quotes), Expiring soon, Accepted (awaiting payment), and Converted this month, plus Generate quote, Export CSV, and search. From here you can:
Generate a quote
Choose the plan and license count and create a quote for a new purchase.
Download the PDF
Share the quote with your procurement or finance team. Your PO number and Workspace Admin are saved on the quote.
Modify a quote
Update an existing quote before you accept it.
Accept and pay
Pay the quote to create the subscription.
What still goes through Sales. Self-serve quotes cover new purchases. Renewals, changes to an existing subscription, net terms, custom pricing, and orders of 25 or more licenses are handled by Sales. Orders of 25 or more licenses route to Contact Sales automatically.
F) Organization settings
The Organization settings page (Manage settings) is where the Billing Owner updates payment details and billing information. It has two areas:
Payment method
Update your payment and card details (name, card number, expiry, and CVV) in the secure portal, then select Update payment method.
Billing address
Update your billing email, phone, country, state, and postal code in the secure portal, then select Update billing address.
For help with billing, use the Contact support panel on this page ([email protected]).
G) Integrations
The Integrations section is where admins connect Lucen Timeline to your identity provider for automatic user provisioning (SCIM). From here you generate the SCIM endpoint and bearer token and check provisioning status, then finish the connection in your identity provider. Open Integrations from the left navigation, and turn on Admin Mode (the toggle at the bottom of the left menu) to manage provisioning settings.
