Overview
Office Timeline allows you to change the language of your timeband and dates for communications with an international audience. The steps below explain how to use the add-in’s localization settings.
Steps
From your timeline slide, select the timeband and then click the Timescale Settings button that will show up in the Style Pane on the right.
In the window that pops up, go to the Settings tab and click on the Language dropdown menu to set your preference.
The add-in will automatically change the language of all dates on your timeline. In addition, the task duration counts and Today marker will also be translated.
Advanced tip: With Office Timeline Expert, you can set up custom timeline themes with your preferred language, and any timeline using those themes will automatically show dates and durations in said language.
